SMS Opt-In Policy for EasyLeaseFlow

Service Description

EasyLeaseFlow provides automated communication services for licensed property management companies to respond to rental property inquiries submitted through real estate listing platforms including Zillow, Apartments.com, and other third-party listing services.

Transactional SMS Use Only

Our SMS communications are strictly transactional in nature. We only send text messages in direct response to consumer-initiated property inquiries. These messages:

  • Respond to specific property inquiries submitted by the consumer
  • Provide requested information about the property in question
  • Schedule property tours requested by the consumer
  • Answer follow-up questions about properties the consumer has inquired about
  • Confirm appointment times and provide property access information

We do NOT send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages.

How Opt-In Works

Consumers provide explicit consent to receive SMS communications when they request a property viewing through EasyLeaseFlow's viewing request process. This consent is obtained through:

  1. Viewing Request Forms: Consumers actively submit their contact information (including phone number) through EasyLeaseFlow's property viewing request forms.
  2. SMS Enabled by Default: Consumers receive transactional SMS messages regarding their viewing request and property inquiry (enabled by default, but they can uncheck the box to opt out).
  3. Clear Consent Language: The checkbox includes clear language explaining the types of messages they will receive, frequency, and how to opt-out.
  4. Property-Specific Context: Each viewing request is tied to a specific property, ensuring all communications are relevant and expected.

Important: SMS is enabled by default for viewing request communications to help ensure consumers receive important confirmations and reminders about their scheduled tours. Consumers can uncheck the SMS consent box to opt out. We only send SMS messages to consumers who have not opted out.

EasyLeaseFlow Message Examples

These are examples of the transactional SMS messages EasyLeaseFlow sends to consumers for their viewing requests (sent by default unless consumers opt out):

Hi John, thanks for your interest in 123 Main St. This is Amy from EasyLeaseFlow. When would you like to schedule a tour?

Hi Jane, responding to your viewing request for 456 Oak Ave via EasyLeaseFlow. The unit is available for viewing tomorrow at 3 PM. Does that work for you?

Hi Michael, following up on your question about the pet policy for 789 Elm Street. We allow cats and dogs under 25 lbs with a $300 deposit. Let me know if you have other questions! - EasyLeaseFlow

Message Frequency

Consumers will only receive messages related to properties they have actively inquired about. Typical message frequency includes:

  • Initial response within 5 minutes of inquiry submission
  • Follow-up messages only in response to consumer questions or requests
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders as requested
  • No recurring or scheduled marketing messages

Opt-Out Instructions

Consumers can opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message
  • Contacting the property management company directly
  • Updating their communication preferences through the listing platform

Opt-out requests are processed immediately and automatically.

Data Protection

We are committed to protecting consumer data:

  • Phone numbers are only used for property inquiry responses
  • Consumer data is never sold or shared with third parties
  • All data is encrypted and stored securely
  • Data retention follows industry best practices and legal requirements
